WHAT IS POWER YOGA?
Power yoga will help you to build flexibility, endurance and strength through a moving meditation. It has a flowing 'vinyasa' style where the focus is on the flow from one pose to the next, rather than approaching each pose on its own.
Power Yoga has an energetic feel and a fitness-based approach to yoga which enables possibilities for all abilities. We end with a relaxation process to leave you feeling calm, centred and ready to face your day!
Ali teaches mixed ability yoga classes and has a real skill for enabling you to find and explore your own yoga practice. She often reminds her participants that yoga is not the pose alone, it is the practice: knowing when to challenge, and when to pull back.
Ali completed her Yoga Alliance credited 200H YTT in Power Yoga under the guidance of Jason Pooley, founder of The House of Yoga in London and a prodigy of Baron Baptiste. She is now running yoga classes in Haslemere for the local community, as well as online, with her Ali C Fitness Hub members.
Whether you are looking for yoga for beginners, or you are an experienced yogi, there will be some self discovery in Ali's classes that she will help you to unlock. She also ties back her classes to yoga philosophy, taking you on a physical, mental and for some, an emotional journey.
