All you need is a mat (e.g. yoga mat) and a couple of your own dumbbells or hand weights (contact me if you don't have any) for this total body workout, focusing on strengthening the whole body - including the core! Why come? After the age of 30 women in particular, start to lose muscle mass if they remain inactive at a rate of 3-5% per decade, so think of this as a way to maintain muscle mass rather than 'bulking up'. Regularly working the muscles can also increase bone density which can in turn reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis in later life. Finally.... increasing muscle mass will also speed up your metabolism, enabling you to burn calories faster in everyday life. What is not to love about 'Body Conditioning' with me?! If you are a complete beginner, you will be taught the basics, but if you are more advanced, you just need to use heavier weights and set yourself the challenge. This workout consists of strength work with dumbbells, core work and sometimes some light cardio with low impact options available!
If this is an online Zoom, or single live class booking, you can cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours prior to the start time of the class, otherwise you will be charged. If you are signing up to a course, retreat or event, you can transfer the booking to another individual at your own discretion, but your booking is non-refundable.
